All magical towns offer incredible things: from breathtaking landscapes, through archaeological zones, beautiful architecture that speaks of a colonial past and even traditions that are reflected in crafts and gastronomy.
1. Mitla – Oaxaca
The full name of this magical town in Oaxaca is Juan Pablo Villa de Mitla and it is known for its archaeological zone, one of the main ceremonial centers and with a very different ornamentation than other buildings in the country. In fact, its Nahuatl name means "place of the dead" or "underworld".

3. Bacalar – Quintana Roo

6. Papantla – Veracruz
Papantla is characterized by being the place of the flyers, the 5 men who jump into the void held only by a rope on one foot and who dance in the air doing 13 turns. 7. Dolores Hidalgo – Guanajato
Dolores Hidalgo is the cradle of Mexico's independence and an open-air history museum.
8. Tepoztlán – Morelos

10. Bernal – Querétaro
